Earlier this week, Ed Sheeran released a video letting the world know that he would be dropping new music on Friday. Today, he released a short video on his social media of what looks to be a division symbol:
Fans have speculated that this is the title to his third album. His first, titled + (plus), and his second, titled x (multiply) both have arithmetic ties, so it goes to follow that his next album would be called ÷ (divide). Looks like we’ll have to wait until Friday to see!
